Lycamobile appoints new Group CEO, Navanit Narayan

Lyca Group, the British multinational service provider and owner of Lycamobile, is proud to announce, the appointment of a new Group CEO as it continues its international expansion.

In recognition of his immediate and significant contribution to the business, Navanit Narayan, Lycamobile’s Group Chief Operating Officer, has been promoted to Lyca Group CEO with immediate effect.

Navanit has over 30 years’ experience supporting the growth of businesses across a variety of sectors, including manufacturing, consulting, and IT. His rich and diverse career has seen him working within operations management, strategy, business transformation and managing strategic business units globally. Prior to joining Lycamobile, he worked at major global telecoms brands including as a Director at Nokia, and as Chief Service Delivery Officer at Idea Cellular. He most recently held the position of Chief Strategy Officer and Operations Director at Vodafone Idea following the merger between the two companies.

Since joining Lycamobile in October 2020, Navanit has proved himself a valuable member of the team. He has had an immediate impact, installing strong local leadership teams in foreign markets, and spearheading the digital transformation of the national business.

His appointment comes at a crucial time in the Lyca Group 2021 strategy, as the firm enters its next stage of growth – developing its national network and expanding adjacent businesses to meet the evolving demands of our growing customer base.
