Bellway unveils first images of new homes in Trowbridge

Bellway has unveiled the first images of a new development in Trowbridge which will bring 151 homes to the town.

The housebuilder has released computer-generated pictures of a street scene and a selection of different homes which will be delivered at Weavers Meadow, off Elizabeth Way, Hilperton.

The first houses are due to be released for sale on Saturday 7 October when a sales cabin will open on the site.

Alongside the new homes, the 19-acre site will feature approximately six acres of green open space and three play areas.

Tim Lund, Sales Director for Bellway South West, said: “These first images give a flavour of how the new homes at Weavers Meadow will look, showing a selection of different property styles.

“Work is progressing well at the development, which means we are now making our final preparations for launching the site from a brand-new sales cabin and releasing the first homes for sale. The build schedule should see us be in a position to open new showhomes here in spring 2024.

“The collection of private homes at Weavers Meadow are from the Artisan Collection – Bellway’s flagship range of homes, which has been created after decades of customer feedback and which combines traditional craftsmanship with modern construction techniques.

“These homes are extremely popular with buyers and we expect the properties at Weavers Meadow to be attractive to a mix of purchasers.

“The project at Weavers Meadow is evidence of our ongoing commitment to delivering much-needed new homes to Wiltshire, where we are already in the process of building 103 new homes at Ridgeway Park in Wroughton and 81 properties in the first phase of Redlands Grove near Swindon.

“Homebuyers throughout the county can be assured that with Bellway they will be buying a top-quality home, as we have been awarded five-star status by the Home Builders Federation (HBF) for the seventh year in a row. This rating means that more than 90 per cent of our customers would recommend us to a friend.”

Bellway is building 106 two, three and four-bedroom houses for private sale at Weavers Meadow, alongside 45 one to four-bedroom affordable properties available for local people through low-cost rent and shared ownership.

The development is just a six-minute drive to Trowbridge train station and eight minutes in the car from Trowbridge Sports Centre. Hilperton CofE Primary School is a 15-minute walk and buyers could get to central Bath in the car in 30 minutes.
