MS3 Networks partners with Scunthorpe United FC

Full fibre network operator, MS3 Networks, has announced its partnership with local side, Scunthorpe United Football Club. As part of this initiative, MS3 will be offering an exclusive promotion to SUFC supporters through its new referral scheme so residents and businesses across Scunthorpe can benefit from MS3’s new full fibre network.
Scunthorpe United is a football club at the heart of the community. With a first team that competes in the National League North, based at the Attis Arena, Scunthorpe United is a proud community club. Celebrating its 125th year in 2024, the club has thousands of passionate supporters from the area.
To mark the partnership, MS3 Networks has supplied a unique promotional link to supporters of SUFC, which will be shared on SUFC social media accounts and via QR codes around the ground. When a supporter follows this link and signs up for new broadband with one of MS3’s internet service provider (ISP) partners and the first monthly payment has been made, the supporter will receive a £50 voucher for Amazon, Asda or Just Eat from MS3. Supporters should monitor the club’s social media and key points around the ground to find the promotional link.
The initiative is the first of its kind following MS3’s successful launch of its customer referral scheme in May 2024. In a separate scheme, MS3 customers now have access to an online dashboard, which allows them to share referral codes with friends and family in return for a £50 voucher for Amazon, Asda or Just Eat.
MS3 has rolled out its entire network across Scunthorpe, having completed a build that covers over 37,000 homes and businesses, giving them access to almost 50 internet service providers. Residents can see if their property is covered by MS3’s network by entering their postcode on MS3’s price comparison tool, with an average annual saving of £200 for each household.
“This initiative with SUFC reinforces our commitment to providing high-speed broadband to the Scunthorpe community,” explained Adam Kelly, Head of Marketing at MS3. “We are a business that deeply cares about the people in our network’s reach, so initiatives like this not only raise awareness of the benefits of MS3’s network, but also directly supports the local football community.”
Glyn Sparks, Partnerships Manager at SUFC added, “As a community club that has deep roots in Scunthorpe that dates back over a century, we are delighted to join forces with MS3 Networks to provide valuable benefits to our supporters. This partnership highlights our commitment to enhancing the well-being of our community and strengthens our ties with local businesses.”
