SIMSINLifts makes game-changing call with new lift telecoms integration

SIMSINLifts has launched a new integrated telephone service designed to significantly improve emergency response to stuck-in-lift calls.

The leading provider of multi-roam lift sims, which automatically connect to the strongest available network, has connected its solutions with the high-performance telecoms infrastructure of its sister company, Prime Connect, to drive further improvements in lift safety.

Already trusted by building managers, facilities teams, and lift manufacturing and engineering companies around the country, this latest move means responders now automatically receive a passenger’s exact location as soon as the call is made. This allows for much faster response, alongside a significant reduction in passenger anxiety.

“Testing shows that the first ten seconds of an emergency call can determine how someone copes. Knowing their exact location from the get-go can thus vastly improve a lift company’s service and reputation”, says Chaim Grunfeld, Founder and CEO of SIMSINLifts.

“We’re proud to bring this unique innovation to the lift industry – and strongly believe that the never-seen-before interface between telephony and lift sim technology changes the game completely. It’s what the sector needs now all lift communication systems are digital. We can’t wait to share more at LiftEx 2025 and are likewise keen to continue pushing the boundaries when it comes to lift telecoms and safety”, says Chaim Berkowicz, fellow CEO and Founder.

Available exclusively through SIMSINLifts, the new service offers automatic syncing of new lift data for the reduction of manual errors, as one of the additional benefits. This is alongside call recording for increased compliance, improved training and peace of mind.

With remote app management available for engineers and remote responders, the solution couldn’t be simpler to implement and will vastly improve lift safety.
