SIMSINLIFTS recognised for industry innovation by top UK tech award

Leading UK specialist in lift communication technology – SIMSINLifts – has been recognised by the prestigious UK Business Tech Awards 2025 for ‘Best Use of Innovation’.

Celebrating the very best in UK tech, the awards shine a spotlight on companies that are transforming their respective fields through technology and innovation.

Established in October 2023, SIMSINLIFTS was founded to tackle long-standing pain points in the lift sector, and is quickly developing an unrivalled reputation for smart, compliant and reliable lift communication solutions.

Having originally launched to market with its multi-roam sim cards, which automatically connect to the strongest available mobile network to guarantee uninterrupted emergency communications, SIMSINLIFTS has since unveiled its own LIFTSIIM Manager to drastically streamline lift operations.

An industry-first online management portal that allows engineers to remotely activate sims, monitor billing, view activation statuses, search by individual sim, and cancel, renew or reorder at the single click of a button, the advanced tech portal eliminates the need for repeat site visits, while ensuring sims never run out of credit.

Most recently, however, SIMSINLIFTS unveiled its unique collaboration with sister company, Prime Connect, which has enabled the fast-growing business to introduce a unique and direct telephony link between its lift sim cards and its network. This innovation ensures emergency responders can instantly see a caller’s exact location, reducing response times and improving safety outcomes.

This trio of standout innovations have, therefore, earnt SIMSINLIFTS a worthy place as a finalist for ‘Best Use of Innovation’ by the UK Business Tech Awards.

Recognition comes at a pivotal time for the business, having already more than doubled its projected turnover for financial year 2024/2025, while planning overseas expansion into European markets.

Chaim Grunfeld, Co-Founder of SIMSINLifts, confirmed: “We’re really happy to have been shortlisted for the awards, particularly the Best Use of Innovation category as thinking differently is genuinely what drives us. To be recognised for what we do best – taking lift communications to the next level – is a real honour. We’ve worked hard to solve long-standing challenges and this nomination shows our reputation is on the rise, with even more exciting developments just around the corner!”

The Business Tech Awards will celebrate all finalists at an awards ceremony and gala dinner, taking place on 10th September 2025.
