Today, Vodafone has been internationally recognised with two awards – after being selected as “Consumer IoT Platform of the Year” by IoT Breakthrough and receiving a Good Design award for the GPS smart tracker, Curve, introduced last year.

The Designed & Connected by Vodafone smart tech range has been awarded “Consumer IoT Platform of the Year” by IoT Breakthrough amongst over 3,800 global nominations for driving innovation and exemplifying the best in IoT technology solutions across the globe.

Curve, the first product in the Designed & Connected by Vodafone range, has also been awarded a 2020 Good Design award in the Electronics category, chosen from over three thousand entrants from fifty countries following a record year for submissions.

Good Design celebrates products that showcase design excellence, technological innovation and high aesthetic, under the auspices of The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.

The award wins follow the recent unveiling by Vodafone and Disney of Neo, the game-changing smart kids watch. Designed for kids and featuring iconic characters from Disney, Pixar and Marvel, Neo is the latest product in Vodafone Smart Tech’s Designed & Connected range.
